Princess Basma sponsors Goodwill Campaign activity in Manara

The Goodwill Campaign, led by Johud, provided in-kind aid to about 150 families, clothes for 50 orphaned children and study support in Al-Manara, East Amman.

On 26 September 2026, the Goodwill Campaign, led by the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (Johud), provided in-kind assistance to about 150 families in need and clothes for 50 orphaned children in the Al-Manara district of East Amman.

Through the Paths of Knowledge programme, the campaign also offered study assistance to 15 students in the area, to help them complete their schooling and gain qualifications for work.

HRH Princess Basma bint Talal, who chairs the campaign’s Higher Committee, said the campaign is a national model of charitable and volunteer work, and that its message joins national efforts for human, social and economic development in Jordan.

She said that, with partners’ support, the campaign provides aid and helps families become more self-reliant, connects young people with training and employment, and supports productive projects, especially home-based work for women.

She heard a briefing on the next stage of work in Al-Manara, including linking jobseekers to Johud’s Forsati platform for training and employer networks. At Zaid bin Haritha Elementary School, the campaign provided school uniforms for 100 students.
