From reach to change
How Johud measures its work: what we count, how we count it, and what has changed for people, communities and institutions.
A reach figure tells you how many people we reached, not what changed in their lives. Both matter, so we say what every number stands for.
How we count
We count each person once, however many activities they join.
Every figure comes with the year it covers and where it comes from.
We publish figures alongside the stories and local context that explain them.
We say plainly when we don’t know, and update when better evidence arrives.
What we track
People
Jobs, income, businesses that last, skills, access to services, and people stepping into leadership.
Communities
Initiatives that keep going, committees that renew their own leadership, and resources raised locally.
Institutions
A municipal decision made differently, a service that responds better, or a programme redesigned because of what the community said.
