The Goodwill Campaign, in the presence of HRH Princess Basma Bint Talal, chairperson of the campaign's Higher Committee, implemented by the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD), signed a cooperation agreement on Wednesday with the Jordanian Free Zones Investors Commission.
The agreement, signed by JOHUD Executive Director Farah Daghistani and Commission Vice President Sharafeddin Rifai, aims to create job opportunities for beneficiaries of the Goodwill Campaign’s programs in Zarqa by connecting them with investors under the commission's umbrella. It also focuses on training programs to enhance worker commitment and performance while encouraging investors to support charitable initiatives.
Princess Basma emphasized the importance of institutionalizing partnerships to maximize efforts in helping job seekers in Zarqa, in coordination with employment offices managed by JOHUD.
During the signing ceremony, attended by Zarqa Governor Firas Abu Qaoud, a number of the commission members, and free zone investors, Princess Basma highlighted that such national partnerships contribute to improving living standards and strengthening the economic and social integration of targeted groups.
She reiterated JOHUD’s commitment to enhancing employment mechanisms through data collection, follow-ups, and training programs to improve employee dedication and job quality.
Vice President Sharafeddin Rifai praised the Goodwill Campaign's humanitarian and developmental efforts, stating that its initiatives have left a lasting impact on many Jordanians. He affirmed that the longstanding partnership between the campaign and the Free Zones Investors Commission is dedicated to supporting underprivileged families in Zarqa through programs focused on training and employment.

The Free Zones Investors Commission pledged to collaborate with the Goodwill Campaign to facilitate job placements, connect job seekers with factories and investors, and provide training programs tailored to industry needs.
The agreement supports Jordan’s sustainable development and aligns with His Majesty King Abdullah II’s directives to improve livelihoods and integrate Jordanian youth into the workforce, in line with the Economic Modernization Vision.
