940 patients benefited from the treatment and advisory services provided during the free medical day as part of the Goodwill Campaign organised by the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD) in Al-Sukhna, Zarqa Governorate.

During the free medical day, 940 patients were examined, and 25 patients’ health will be monitored through the campaign's partnerships with the private medical sector, as they require additional medical follow-up and surgical interventions.

The campaign organised the medical day as part of the "Healing Touch" programme, with support from the Samra Electricity Generating Company and in cooperation with the Middle East Eye Hospital.

The activities of the medical day included the provision of treatment and advisory services through 10 specialised clinics: internal medicine, cardiology, gynaecology, ophthalmology, paediatrics, otolaryngology, dentistry, dermatology, pulmonology, and orthopaedics. Blood pressure and diabetes checks were also conducted, with the participation of volunteers from the campaign, including specialist doctors, pharmacists, and laboratory personnel.

Dr. Nayef Al-Abdallat, the head of the medical team in the Goodwill Campaign, stated that the campaign will continue its medical activities in the targeted areas as part of the prepared plan.

Dr. Al-Abdallat emphasised the significance of the free medical days that the campaign has been organising since its launch, aiming to provide quality medical services to patients from families facing challenging economic and living conditions. He further indicated that the campaign has achieved remarkable successes in this field, improving the lives of many beneficiaries through successful surgeries performed for them.
